MSW Program Information Sessions
Now is the time to consider advancing your academic career in the field of Social Work. The University of Arkansas online and on campus MSW programs begin one time per year at the start of the Summer session. These programs are completed in three semesters. The deadline to apply for the Advanced Standing Program is January 15th of each year. Applications open October 1 of each year. Students who qualify for these one year programs have a BSW from a CSWE Accreditated University.
We hope that students whose Bachelor's degree is in a discipline other than Social Work will consider the traditional two year or extended three year program. Both of these programs are offered on campus only. The two year program is completed in five semesters, and the extended program is completed in seven.
If you are interested in applying to any of our programs, we invite you to attend one of our MSW Program Information Sessions. Sessions include information on all program options, including those designed for applicants with or without an undergraduate degree in social work. Also included is a review of admission requirements and process, as well as tips for submitting the most competitive application possible. All information sessions are held via Zoom.
